Our firm understands that when it is time to implement a client's estate plan, the process of administering a trust and/or an estate can be overwhelming to the family. Our firm will guide families in understanding the process, what steps need to be done and by whom, so that the administration can be done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Trust & Probate Litigation

We take pride in assisting our clients with navigating through the probate court system. We have successfully resolved matters related to trust accountings, failure to provide copies of estate documents, removal of trustees or defending trustees, revoking a will or trust due to lack of capacity or undue influence or defending a will/trust, reforming a trust, landlord/tenant issues, summary possession to remove a tenant, partition of real property (joint owners dispute regarding real property, etc.).

Taft-Hartley Multi-Employer Trust Funds

We are one of the few law firms in the State of Hawaii representing multiple Taft-Hartley trust fund clients with combined assets exceeding $1 billion. Our attorneys have provided both general and collection counsel services to multiemployer plans for over 20 years in Hawaii. Our firm focuses solely on trust fund matters and does not engage in collective bargaining. Trustees recognize our commitment to this unique and highly complex practice area.
